Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. is a Sino-US joint venture established in October 1995 and located in the tomb of the martyr in Shapingba District, Chongqing. The Chinese parent company is Chongqing Electromechanical Co., Ltd., and the foreign parent company is Cummins (China) Investment Co., Ltd., each with a 50% investment ratio. Chongqing Cummins is the starting point for Cummins' local production in China, and it is Cummins' largest heavy-duty and high-horsepower engine manufacturing plant in China.

Tang Gong, the person in charge of Cummins equipment, came to the painting workshop. The infrared heating furnace was placed in the center of the workshop. The production line was put into operation in early 2010 and has been used until now. The equipment is running very stable. According to Tang Gong, the infrared heating furnace is mainly based on the drying of oil paints and water-based paints. The drying temperature is 60-80°C. It takes about 20 minutes to dry an engine, and the air consumption of the equipment is about 25m³/h. There has been no major problem with the operation of the infrared furnace so far. During this period, the proportional motor was replaced. The catalytic plate has not even bought spare parts. The gas infrared furnace will continue to be used.

Through communication with Tanggong, I understand that the equipment has been in good condition so far, which is inseparable from their workshop management and regular maintenance of equipment. The clean environment of the workshop and effective regular maintenance also greatly increase the service life of the equipment.
